Youtube
Along with perusing my career in music and acting I plan on launching a Youtube channel to make passion fueled projects in the meantime. It may also lead to a bit of on the side revenue but the main goal for the channel is to have a creative outlet.
I plan on making 5 videos to launch the channel roughly in September of ‘26 if I’m not too busy working.
My Current Channel
I currently have a Youtube channel for my reels for now, but I plan on possibly switching it over to Vimeo in the near future to have my work more organized.
Content
I’ve always enjoyed media studies, so a lot of the work I’d like to do is art and media analysis to shed light on, or find new ways to appreciate, things like film, TV, theatre, video games, etc.
I’d also like to post smaller narrative driven works from time to time. Things like short films or short series.
The future
The long term goal of the channel, if I may be so ambitious, is to have a jumping off point to potentially branch out into other types of work in all sorts of media, and the long long term goal is to eventually start a production company that would give tools to other artists to help them produce their own works.
If I may move back to reality it would definitely be way in the future that this would occur, but I would love to make a space where other creatives can be uninhibited by the current industry to make what they want. often times it feels like messages in modern media need to be beholden to certain standards and structures that can sometimes inhibit the original messaging by trying to be something for everybody. I want to give a space for art that challenges and maybe even confuses audiences and gets more niche and creative voices heard.
Again a very idealistic and very long term goal, but youtube is certainly a start.
